got new tires today. the pops took me over to costco and we got my ride fitted with some new michelins for a fraction of the cost (at least thats the claim, i did little to investigate its validity). but new tires are great, although making the whole deal happen was a nightmare (courtesy of the crazy 'rents). let's not even talk about that....

lately, i have been treating my car like a superstar! got new speakers for christmas, had a tune-up, and now new tires. maybe i'm feeling guilty cause i want a new car. not that i dont love mine: i so do. it's a great car-- honda civic '01 black... great. but a new car would be exciting; a fresh start; a car not yet jaded by the harshness of the real world (or at least not yet effected by on-street parking).

for now, i love my car. it's one thing in this world that is truly mine. if i could give my car a hug i would.

this whole blogging thing.... well, i can't help but think it is really just a self-serving exercise...... so as far as my new blog goes, it is what you make of it.... and i dont need a theme or other guidelines. it is what it is, plain & simple.... stay tuned. or don't. whatever.

Funny enough---> everywhere i go i am thinking about what i will blog about--- i can only imagine that other bloggers are plagued with similar thoughts-- it's like lead singer syndrome.............................. (maybe, a little bit...)

ok, so everyone has a blog and damnit i should too ..... but now is the hard part. what tidbits will i post? how much will i censor myself? what will the public---dare i say: "my fans"--- want to read about? ..... and at the heart of it all, shall i have a blog theme?

certainly, i have read countless other blogs-- some focus on music or movie reviews; others on the general subject of daily life.... one blog i read focuses on masturbation fantasies.... hhmmmm..

suddenly i feel this intense pressure to be interesting.....

i must think.
